Simplifying the insurance sector for professionals. This is the Riskee mission. Founded in October 2020 by Quentin Fabre and Dorian Jorry, two friends who met at Rennes Business School, this start-up based in Castres (Tarn) offers tailor-made insurance contracts, “to be put together in five minutes in an extremely user-friendly way”. “Today, traditional insurance companies are finding it difficult to offer policies that are really tailored to their needs”, says CEO Quentin Fabre.

Riskee targets VSES, start-ups and freelances, which together represent 70% of its customers. It has a free platform, the Cockpit, where they can centralise, manage and monitor all their insurance contracts.

The young company now wants to fast track its development. Thanks to the Occitanie Invest event, it hopes to raise €1m.”This will enable us to develop our platform to integrate our partners (banks, accountants, lawyers, etc.) who will be able to offer Riskee products under a white label. This is a major growth lever.”
The aim is to win more than 1,500 clients and over 100 underwriters in the next twelve months and, within five years, to become a key player in the distribution of professional insurance. Nor does it rule out expanding internationally, particularly “in Spain and Germany”, adds Quentin Fabre.

Riskee has been supported since its creation by AD’OCC, the Economic Development Agency of the Occitanie/Pyrénées-Méditerranée Region.

“Thanks to them, we benefit from an excellent local network”, he enthuses. The start-up has already won numerous awards (Créalia Toulouse, Réseau entreprendre Tarn, Bourse French Tech, etc.) and has received a seed loan from Bpifrance. Last April, Challenges magazine placed it in the Top 100 start-ups to invest in in 2021.
